Thank you, Nanny Naturale! I asked her what she wanted and we ended up going with Banana milk!  This was her brother's first food of choice as well after he was sick, 5 days later.  :-(  But they both came through okay!

Hi Nanny Naturale! It's been some time since I've been here. Thank for the welcome. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling with too little milk when I start eating 100% raw :( I will track my calories now. I hope it will work then!

Hi! Thank you :o)
Our daughters are 10, 8 and 6... They are not raw vegan (yet), but vegetarian and eat lots of fruits and veggies.
I was vegetarian too for years, then vegan and since november 2012 raw vegan, I am trying to stick to 80-10-10 and now I would like to transition my husband and kids into the lifestyle too ;o)
I hope to find some help and stimulation over here ;o)

Thanks (: my daughter is already trying to grab my food & she's a week shy of 5 months. I think that's waaayy too soon. Actually, I think 6 months is way too soon as well, but idk. I'm waiting on Karen Ranzi's book, Creating Healthy Children, to arrive though (:

Hi Mera!  Thanks for the welcome!  My daughter is 25 :)  Thankfully she is cooking for her Dad (my husband) these days.  She's a chef.  So I can focus on my fruits and salads :)  I help them out with smoothies, juices, and salads when they want them.

Breastmilk Sharing Research

Posted on August 16, 2013 at 16:00 0 Comments

Anyone who supports or has participated in milk sharing can anonymously take this survey to further real evidence-based opinions and influence on the ideas surrounding breast milk sharing.  Of course we promote breastfeeding here, but in some cases when breastfeeding isn't working well enough, the second best is mother's milk from a milk donor.  Although this was perfectly normal many years ago, it is currently a little controversial and the need for more information and experiences with…

Does Family/Community Support Change With Children's Age?

Posted on May 26, 2012 at 4:44 2 Comments

I'm just curious about the kind and quality of support you receive during different phases of your child's growth?

Do you anticipate things will change when your children become a certain age?

Are there types of support you welcome and types you reject and is it due to your children's age or the kind of support given by your family/community or is it something else?

Do you want any type of support you're not getting in raising your children??
